About Ruth

Ruth Harvey is the wife of Rev. Steven Harvey, Senior Pastor of Life UPC and the mother of two lovely daughters, Angelica and Miriam. She is also the CT District Ladies Ministries President, an international speaker, author and recording artist.

Ruth wrote her first book in 1998, the well-loved book, Power Before the Throne which quickly became a best seller and has been translated into several languages. Following the amazing success of her inaugural book, Ruth’s love of writing grew and she has since released several more books. Drawing on the use of poignant word pictures, extensive life experiences and insightful Biblical principles, her inspirational books offer uplifting answers to life’s difficult questions that confront each of us.

An engaging, gifted communicator both through the written and spoken word, Ruth’s world-wide ministry has inspired and touched thousands of lives. She is deeply passionate about educating, empowering and equipping people of all ages to pursue a victorious life in Jesus Christ.
